HW3: Hands and Physics Game

By Elmeri Uotila, and Sakaria Poukke.
Due date: HW3 DL is 27th February 12:00 (NOTE, the unusual time). The HW3s are presented in a demo session at TS135, except for Fitech, and other remote students, who can submit a video demo.
Note, HW assignments are weighed in grading as follows, which means HW3 is the most valuable considering your final grade:

Instructions

Please follow the instructions from This document and then submit your project build using the checkbox below.

Live Final Presentation

Please follow the below instruction to submit your executable file for us to run your project. In the end of the page, please sign up to give a Live Final Presentation of your work to us.

Submit the Link to Your .zip File

Please use FileSender service to send your .zip file to us. The FileSender link has to be submitted twice: 1) here in Lovelace and 2) to the email address below. Failure to do so, will results into zero points for this assignment.
Login to FileSender using your university account, select the farthest possible expiration date, and then address it to:
  • your own university email address,
  • as well as to paula.alavesa@oulu.fi.
Open your email and paste the FileSender link to your .zip file that you just received in the textbox below:

Live Presentation Sign Up Schedule

We ask you to present your homework live to us during week 11. A reservation schedule will be added to this page at least two weeks before the sessions.
You can book a time for your demo by following this link Demo Bookings Calendar. Please reschedule or cancel the demo if you cannot make it as there is a limited number of seats per event.
During your presentation, show us how you run your homework with a brief description of it. Your demo presentation should not take longer than 10 minutes, as we have to accomodate about 70 students. Please arrive early enough to set up your machine (or laptop) and run your project. You can either use the machines in TS135 or your own laptop for your presentation. Once two supervisors have graded your work you can leave or stay to demo your work to other students.
It is very important that you present your HW to us during a live demo, as it is a chance for us to meet you in person and to experience your game with your guidance. It is also the time when we collect your HMDs back from you. Therefore, 10 points will be added to your HW for your live presentation! Fitech students can submit a video demo.
