Project Part 2: Project Description¶
Due date: .
In this part of your final project, we want you to finalize your project description. What perceptual experience in VR you want to implement?
- During the 4th lecture, we will discuss Project Ideas with you to help get you started.
- Alternatively, you can use lectures (Lecture Slides) and your Homework as a source of inspiration.
- If you want to do some stereo mismatch setups, you might find this tutorial helpful
For your final project you will create a VR experience that demonstrates four perception-related issues in VR. Choose from illusions in the list, showcasing how parameter adjustments affect perception or even breaks the illusion alltogether. Alternatively, select a concept from lectures for a demo, enhancing understanding. Think of it as a demonstration of VR concepts that would be otherwise difficult to demonstrate in the real world. If your implementation is good, we might use it as a future VR homework or an in-class demonstration!
Note: If you would like to discuss your project ideas with us prior to submission, please follow the link: SIGN UP PAGE.
Grading¶
Describe four scenes you are going to implement, and you will receive 2% of the final course grade, 0.5% points per scene. Do not use more than ~100 words per scene.
Final grading will occur during our in-person meeting. Schedule details will be provided on this page soon.
